Cubes:

Cube of a number means to multiply a number by itself three times. Suppose y be any number then,
y×y×y = y³

For example
2×2×2 = 2³
3×3×3 = 3³
4×4×4 = 4³
5×5×5 = 5³
6×6×6 = 6³
7×7×7 = 7³
And so on.

Perfect cubes:

Perfect cube is a number that is the result of multiplying (product) an integer by itself three(3) times. It can also be define as an integer to the third power of another Integer.

Example: show that 8 is a perfect cube.

Solution: 8 = 2×2×2 = 2³ so 8 is a perfect cube of 2.

Example: show that 27 is a perfect cube.
